LOGICNAUTBlock Lab

Suit up. Block coding missions

Think it.
Block it. Run it.

Hi Explorer. Break a problem into steps, snap the steps together as blocks, run the idea, and improve it. Every block here works the same way in real Scratch.

How a mission works

  1. Read the goal. Every mission says what Jarvis should do or say.
  2. Snap blocks together. Drag from the palette, or tap a block to add it to your script.
  3. Run it, inspect it, improve it. Press Run blocks and watch every block light up as it works.
  4. Check it. The lab tests your program. Hints are always free, and stars never go down.

Seven worlds, one idea at a time

For parents and mentors

Grown-up Guide

Block Lab teaches the thinking behind programming: order, repetition, memory, decisions, and loops that stop when a condition is met. Every block uses the real Scratch name, colour, and shape, so a learner can open Scratch afterwards and find the same pieces.

The path

The flight path has seven worlds in order: First Steps, Loops, Variables, Decisions, Repeat Until, Words, and Challenges. Each world unlocks after most of the previous one is solved. Inside a world, missions unlock one at a time. A learner who gets stuck can reveal three free clues and then see one worked solution, so nobody is ever blocked.

Stars and bolts

Solving a mission earns one star. Solving it within the par block count earns three. Stars never go down, and hints are always free. Bolts add up from stars and set the level. There is no paid currency, no ranking, and no streak to lose.

How to help

Sound and voice

Jarvis speaks only with a voice installed on this device, through the browser's speech synthesizer. Network voices are never used, so no text leaves the device, and on a browser with no installed voice he stays silent. Suit sounds are synthesized on the device. The Sound button in the header silences everything.

Privacy

Progress, drafts, and the optional explorer name stay in this browser. Nothing is sent anywhere. See privacy for families.

What should the lab call you?
